Rainforest Discovery Centre (RDC) is managed by the Sabah Forestry Department. It is one of the most popular Environmental Education (EE) centres in Sabah. A pristine lowland dipterocarp and Mangrove forest with astounding 300 species of birds recorded in the area.
The 4300hectares Sepilok-Kabili Forest Reserve and became birders attention worldwide for its iconic Bornean Bristlehead, Black and crimson pitta, Blue-headed pitta, Giant pitta, Black hornbill, Rhinoceros hornbill and more. It is home to the famous Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre.
